Larry Azbell understands the importance of leaving something for others to ensure that HVCH will be here for generations to come.  “This is how you keep things going,” said Azbell.  “I am going to take care of some of my family, some religious organizations and the hospital.  I had a friend who gave to Hocking Valley Community Hospital after he passed, and I had another friend who was a big part of getting things started at the hospital years ago.  Both of these reasons are what made me want to give to the hospital.  I encourage others to give, too!  You can’t keep all you got, so I set up a trust.  This is how you keep things going!”

Larry recently met with his attorney to discuss his wishes and gifted $300,000 in his estate plan to HVCH.

Naming Opportunities: HVCH has just completed celebrating 50 years and we are so excited to begin looking at the next 50 years! As we grow and continue to be innovative, meeting the ever changing needs of our patients, our facilities will need to change. Gifts and pledges made to HVCH can also be used to remember someone special. You can spread your pledge over several years. Depending on the level you give, various opportunities throughout the hospital are available for naming privileges.

One example is our beautiful courtyard.  Your support of our internal garden area provides continued opportunities for educational classes to the community, and a place for our patients, visitors and staff to find respite among butterflies and birds during some of their most difficult times.

There are many locations within the hospital for you to memorialize a loved one or identify yourself, family or organization as a supporter of the ongoing mission of HVCH.
